Graduated from the University of Bath with Master of Physics (BSc + MPhys) and First-class Honours. I thought I’d share some photos from my time here.

From left to right: Historic Roman Baths, Pultney Bridge, Pultney Bridge (night), Bath Abbey (Christmas Market Lighting). Bottom left: the scanning tunnelling microscope (STM) that I used in my Master's project. It can be used to image crystals with atomic resolution, and is operated under ultra-high vacuum (< 10-9 mBar). This is very close to the pressure in outer space. Bottom right: STM micrograph of a NiI2 / I Moiré superlattice. The unique angle between the NiI2 and the underlying iodine layers. creates a large Moiré unit cell.
